Beeches Cottage at Buckland Court is the largest of eight cottages skillfully converted from the original farm buildings that are grouped around an attractive courtyard.  Buckland Court is set in beautiful tranquil countryside yet is within easy reach of Dartmouth, Kingsbridge and Salcombe and is just two miles from the sea at the famous Slapton Sands.

Beeches Cottage is fully centrally heated and sleeps six to eight adults (or children of course!) in three bedrooms with full-size beds, and a high quality sofa bed.

Downstairs, a striking feature of the cottage is its spacious (34' x 17') open plan living and dining room.  The dining area has a maple laminated floor and a fully equipped kitchen, including microwave, freezer and dishwasher.  There is a step down to the large living area, with two big three seater sofas (one being a full-sized sofa-bed) and three armchairs.  There is a colour TV with extra sports and cartoon channels and a stereo system.

Upstairs a huge picture window looks out from the landing over the orchard and gardens.  The master suite comprises a large double bedroom with sofa, and a new Victorian style wainscoted en suite bathroom.  The bedroom has views over the duck ponds, the gardens and across rolling countryside towards Dartmoor.  There are two further good sized twin bedrooms each with two 3ft beds and a second newly fitted bathroom.  Both the family bathroom and the en suite have showers over the baths.

Beeches Cottage's spacious living and dining accommodation means that it can be used in conjunction with neighbouring cottages as the base for larger parties and yet it is cosy enough for intimate family holidays.

Outside, Beeches Cottage opens on to a pleasant courtyard with a raised lawn area in the middle containing a beautiful mimosa tree and a table with benches which is ideal for al fresco lunches or a quiet evening drink.  There is also a bench seat just outside the front door.  Beeches Cottage benefits from the use of nearly one and a half acres of grounds including two duckponds and a barbecue, with plenty of room for children to play and adults to relax.  There is a laundry room in the courtyard with automatic washer and dryer, and also a payphone.  Ample car parking is provided.

The cottage is available from 3pm on Friday afternoons, to be vacated by 10am Friday morning.
