Oak Cottage at Buckland Court is the largest of three cottages skillfully converted from the original farm buildings that are grouped around a quiet courtyard.  Buckland Court is set in beautiful tranquil countryside yet is within easy reach of Dartmouth, Kingsbridge and Salcombe and is just two miles from the sea at the famous Slapton Sands.

Oak Cottage is fully centrally heated and sleeps twelve in five bedrooms with three 5' beds, a room with two sets of bunk beds and a room with a double with a single bunk over.

Approached through a courtyard, the front door (5’7" lintel) leads into a hall with a tiled floor and plenty of room for coats and boots.  Downstairs, a notable feature of the cottage is its spacious open plan kitchen and dining area.  The kitchen is fully equipped with a large range with gas hob and includes a microwave, fridge, fridge-freezer, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble drier.  The lounge has a TV, Freeview, video and DVD as well as ample comfortable furniture.

Upstairs there are five bedrooms. Three have 5' double beds, one of which has an en suite shower and the other two have wash basins. A fourth bedroom has two sets of bunk beds and the fifth bedroom has bunks that are double under and single over (with limited clothes hanging space).

Oak Cottage's spacious living and dining accommodation means that it can be used in conjunction with neighbouring cottages as the base for larger parties and yet it is cosy enough for intimate family holidays.

Oak Cottage benefits from the use of one and a half acres of open grounds with two duck ponds and a barbecue for you to enjoy with other residents.  There is plenty of room for children to play and adults to relax but toddlers should be supervised.

The cottage is available from 3pm on Friday afternoons, to be vacated by 10am Friday morning.

Linen and towels are provided free of charge (but please bring your own beach towels).

The Broadband internet connection is via a RJ45 network socket (no Wi-fi available).  Please remember to bring your own RJ45 patch cable.
